TITLE

    The Club shall be known as BRACKNELL MIXED SAUNA CLUB , herein after referred to as 'the Club'.

     

OBJECTS

    To provide NATURIST sauna facilities at Bracknell Sport Centre.

     

OWNERSHIP

    The Club shall be owned by the members who will each hold one share in the club for each continuous year of membership.
    Expiry of membership shall result in loss of all shares. The Club is a Private Members Club and non-profit making.

     

MANAGEMENT

    The Club shall be managed on behalf of the members by a Committee that shall be elected at an Annual General Meeting held each year in April.
    The Committee shall consist of :- Chairperson. Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Secretary, and three Members Representatives.

     

MEMBERSHIP

    Membership shall be open to couples, families and a limited number of single persons. All applicants for membership must attend as a visitor on at least three occasions. They must complete a membership application. They must be proposed for membership by one member and seconded by another. Each application will be individually considered by a quorum of not less than 4 members of the Committee who will endeavour to retain a near balance in numbers between male and female adult membership. This may mean that from time to time it may be necessary to apply a Waiting List. The quorum of the Committee shall have the right to refuse membership without giving reasons. All members shall have equal rights. The membership year will commence on the first of January each year.

     

VISITORS

    Couples, families and single persons of either sex can come as visitors to any session. Attendance of visitors is limited to 5 sessions during the course of a year and single persons will only be admitted on production of a current British Naturism (CCBN) membership card. These requirements may be waived by a Committee Member in respect of any visit if felt appropriate. Members of other Clubs that are members of, or affiliated to British Naturism (CCBN), may attend by prior arrangement with a Committee member and on payment of the Visitor's fee. (Note: Please make contact first to avoid a wasted trip)

     

EXCLUSION RULE

    (a) Any person behaving in such a manner likely to cause offence to others at any Club venue may be required to leave immediately by any member of the Committee and at least one other member of the Club. The person required to leave will subsequently be given the opportunity to meet with a quorum of not less than four Committee members to refute any allegation. The adjudication of the Committee members shall be final and will include the option to expel the person from the Club. In this case a pro rata refund of his/her membership subscription will be made.

    (b) Any person who any Committee member and at least one other member of the club believes to have acted in any manner likely to bring the club into disrepute whether at a club venue or not, will be given the opportunity to meet with a quorum of not less than four Committee members to refute any allegation. The adjudication of the Committee members shall be final and will include the option to expel the person from the Club. In this case a pro rata refund of his/her membership subscription will be made.

     

FEES & CHARGES

    An annual subscription shall be levied on all members. Charges shall be levied for entrance to Sauna sessions. Such subscriptions and charges shall be fixed by the Club at the Annual General Meeting and dependant on the charges made to the Club by the Bracknell Sports Centre. Any person joining during the membership year will pay a pro rata proportion of the yearly fee – join in July – pay 5/12ths of yearly subscription.

     

QUORUM

    A General Meeting may be called by a petition of 15 members. Changes to the Rules or Constitution shall only be made at a General Meeting at which at least 15 members are present and will require a voting majority of at least two thirds of those present.

     

INSURANCE

    Public Indemnity Insurance shall be taken out by or on behalf of the Club to cover all the Club's activities at Bracknell Sports Centre. This covers public liability but not accidental injury. All persons attend at their own risk.
